Stilwell's Restaurant

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, December 15th to welcome Stilwell’s Restaurant as a new member of the De Queen-Sevier County Chamber of Commerce.  The restaurant, located at the corner of Third & Stilwell in De Queen, is owned by Chad & Jessica Gallagher and Angelea Talley.

Stilwell’s opened in October and offers a great lunch with delicious sandwiches, soups, salads and more, a full coffee bar with free Wi-Fi, homemade pastries & desserts, a private dining room and catering.  They are open Monday thru Thursday from 7 am until 7 pm and Friday & Saturday from 7 am – 9 pm.  Call 870-642-2872.

CHAMBER HOSTS COFFEE FOR CONGRESSMAN

he De Queen/Sevier County Chamber of Commerce hosted a coffee Monday, January 4th for their members with U. S. Representative Mike Ross as special guest.

Congressman Ross addressed the crowd before opening the floor to questions that ranged from healthcare revision to I-49 and the freedom to choose your satellite channels.

Around thirty people attended the event Monday afternoon at the Multi-Culture building in De Queen.

 

Anything Grows Hosts Community Coffee

Terri & Michael Hunt, owners of Anything Grows in De Queen were gracious hosts December 1st at a coffee organized to give Chamber members, business leaders, and the public the opportunity to come together and share ideas.

Decorating the Courthouse Lawn for Christmas

Students from the De Queen School district met with board members on the courthouse square at 9:30 to begin decorating the courthouse trees and lawn.   

These De Queen High School students under the direction of Mrs. Yaneth Gonzalez served our community by decorating the Sevier County Courthouse for the upcoming Christmas season
